Welcome to this subject guide for Theology and Media and Development studies students! Who have access to Library Resources?

The collection of the RCU Library is comprehensive and encompasses all academic programs offered by the Faculty of Arts, Theology, Culture and Heritage studies. Additionally, collection at Theology Campus library encompasses theology texts and commentaries. To be able to fully use the library, you must be a registered RCU student or employee to access the library. Visit he library and register or register during orientation. Non-student and staff have limited access to certain resources or services include on-site use of materials, guest accounts for computer access or borrowing privileges with a guest pass.

Library borrowing procedures and policies

The borrowing procedures and policies at RCU's library are structured to ensure equitable access to library materials while maintaining the integrity of the collection. To borrow materials from the library, Library users need a valid library card or university ID. This card serves as a form of identification and allows users to check out items from the library.

Loan Periods

  1. It is an offence to remove library material that has not been issued officially.
  2. Do not exchange Student ID to gain access into the library or for borrowing purpose. A borrower will be held responsible for
    all material taken out in his or her name, and may not lend such material to other people. Borrower privileges are not
    transferable.
  3. The library does not issue out torn or defaced books. Should readers lose damage or deface resources they will be requested to
    replace. Whenever vandalism, improper use of the facilities, or theft is observed, access to, and use of, the facilities and/or the
    library can be denied. In the case of vandalism and/or damage, the costs will at all times be charged to the perpetrator
  4. Fines will be charged if items are not returned by the given due date.
